The New Monster of the Bay!

The Northern Snakehead has invaded most of the bay tributaries here on the Eastern Shore.. While considered a very invasive species many have come to realize what a Great game fish they are. On top of that they are Fantastic eating, and will rival the flavor of our Best eating fish including Flounder, Rock & Perch.. I guess we'll have to wait and see the damage if any created by their presence in our waters. Hopefully the Bass, Crappie, Perch and others can adapt to them. The Nutria introduction was a Big Bust as they ate much of the good Marsh grasses, but the Sika deer has thrived, and has been a Great addition to game available here on the Shore. Time will tell, but for now I'm enjoying the delicious fillet's of these Big Monsters..
