Dorchester County Memorabilia Galore

My wife and I recently went to the East New Market Firehouse for a Local Collectors sale. If your looking for anything related to The Canning industry this is the place to go. The canning labels from back in the old days have some Incredible artwork and even though I'm not a collector it was definitely cool to check out. Since I grew up hunting and fishing near the Blackwater Area of Church Creek MD I did pick up a couple of Labels and a Token from that area just because they were cool looking.

Its very easy to tell an Original label from a copy as shown above.

I was thinking of finding some more and make up a collage or just frame them . Probably not going to be collecting them, but I really would like to find an Original of that Transquaking one so you never know.
